WHAT IS THE LIBERTY ROAD CHALLENGE?
The 2020 Liberty Road Challenge is a unique opportunity to honor D-Day and the route our Allied forces' marched to achieve the Liberation of France. Participants have a choice to complete the virtual course individually or with a team and can choose to walk, jog, run or bike the course! Registration for both INDIVIDUAL and TEAM VIRTUAL CHALLENGES are open until Independence Day - July 4, 2020.
INDIVIDUAL CHALLENGES:
Participants have until September 10th to complete the Liberty Road virtual course from Sainte-Mere-Eglise in Normandy, France to Saint Malo in Brittany, France (100 miles/161 km) OR continue on to Bastogne, belgium which was liberated on September 10, 1944 and held strong during the Battle of Bulge. (712 miles/1147 km).
TEAM CHALLENGE:
Teams have until September 10th to complete the Liberty Road virtual course from Sainte-Mere-Eglise to Bastogne, in Luxembourg, Belgium which was liberated on September 10th, 1944 and held strong during the Battle of Bulge (712 miles/1147 km).
HOW IT WORKS:
Step 1: Register as an individual or start a team in honor of the WWII generation.
Step 2: Track your progress by logging your daily mileage and activity (walk/run/bike). Please note that official tracking starts Independence Day July 4, 2020.
Step 3: Complete the challenge and receive your dog tag from The National WWII Museum and exclusive 2020 Liberty Road Challenge t-shirt.
We are proud to be partnering with The National WWII Museum to produce this unique fitness challenge in honor of the WWII generation!
This event benefits The National WWII Museum in New Orleans, Louisiana. 100% of donations and part of registration proceeds will go to support the Museum and its mission.

The Liberty Road Challenge will begin officially tracking your progress on July 4th.
A virtual challenge is a unique fitness movement to keep people active! Participants can walk, jog, run, or bike to complete their challenge of 100 miles individually or 712 miles as a team!
Teams can be made up of as many participants as you like!
All registration packets will be mailed after the conclusion of the Challenge on September 10th. An extra $5-$15 may be collected if you live outside of the US.
All participants receive an exclusive virtual bib, Liberty Road Challenge t-shirt, and finishers dog tag from The National World War II Museum, and 25% discount admission to The National World War II Museum
