Thank you for participating in this year's Crescent City Classic. 6/16/10: We would like to thank the City for helping us and completing the process to forgive most of the Neutral Ground Parking tickets. We realize, however, that not all citations have been fully adjucated. That means that they are still outstanding. So please, ... send us the violation number at ccc10k@aol.com. We will be glad to forward all outstanding violation numbers to the City for review and processing. Remember, only neutral ground parking tickets will be voided by the City. 4/26/10: The parking issue is not yet over! We have received several phone calls from worried entrants that said they received notifications from the City over the weekend. We contacted the Dept of Public Works and were told that while the tickets have been forgiven, they could not say when the tickets would be adjudicated. Until the tickets are adjudicated, you will continue to receive notifications. Further, if you go into New Orleans and park illegally, you run the risk of being booted. We are attempting to reach our administrative contact at the City to see if they can expedite the process. 4/16/10: If you received a ticket for parking on the median during the race, we arranged for them to be forgiven. Anyone who received a ticket , does not have to do anything. Remember, only neutral ground parking tickets will be voided by the City. If someone has already paid their ticket, you need to contact the Department of Public Works @ 504.658.8250 to arrange a refund. 4/12/10: This week our volunteers will work on getting out the race posters that were ordered. If you did not get your t-shirt, please mail us the t-Shirt tab from your bib number. (T-Shirts; PO Box 13587; New Orleans, LA 70185) Please confirm your mailing address and the size shirt you would prefer. 4/8/10: We are pleased to confirm news reports that the City has forgiven the tickets for parking on the median on the day of the race! To accommodate the City's concerns, we agreed to assist with some infrastructure improvements on Marconi Blvd that will benefit the Classic and all events that take place in City Park. Additionally, we will formalize a parking plan for our race (including the City, Delgado, area residents, their City Council representative and City Park) that participants can use to park safely. We will keep you informed as details are available. 4/3/10: As you probably know, the day was marred by the ticketing of cars on the Marconi neutral ground. We know that the ticketed participants are upset. Unfortunately, we are completely embarrassed and apologize for this debacle. Please be assured that we will try to meet with City Officials to see what can be done. Race results for the 2010 CCC10K ARE posted as follows: Download TOP 500 2010 CCC10K Finishers!
